If you wish to use our powered speaker set with an amplifier/receiver, make sure you are not sending an amplified audio signal to the active or passive speaker as this will cause electrical damage to the speaker set. If your receiver’s speaker connection method involves the traditional speaker-wire with exposed ends, this is a sign that you need a passive speaker set instead. Look for an aux/headphone/RCA port that says OUT or OUTPUT, this will be safe to use as it sends a non-amplified audio signal.
