Can I pair two Bluetooth sets of Edifier speakers to a device and use them at the same time?

Our powered speaker sets can only accept one Bluetooth audio source at a time. You cannot have two iPhones with Bluetooth activated with the same ‘R1280DBs’ as the speaker destination simultaneously. Once the original BT-paired source has disconnected, the speaker will become discoverable again. 

Most Bluetooth enabled source devices are not capable of ‘dual Bluetooth audio pairing’ which would allow a single smartphone to choose multiple BT speaker sets to stream simultaneously. If you want multiple BT speakers paired to a single source, we recommend using a Bluetooth receiver/transmitter with the stated capability of dual audio streaming.
